E.L.I. assessment and debrief

Humans are curious by nature. Many of us will have completed a personality assessment or two in our lifetime in a bid to discover more about ourselves (DISC or Myers-Briggs might ring some bells). Personality assessments offer useful insights into various aspects of our character but even the most detailed types can restrict us to the confines of the label they give us.

The Energy Leadership Index (E.L.I.) is a one-of-a-kind, Forbes recommended assessment that shows you your unique perceptions, attitudes and behaviours, both under normal circumstances and in response to stress, which is especially powerful during periods of transition. You may be sitting there thinking this doesn't apply to you because you don't identify as a leader but the E.L.I. is actually applicable to all. This is because we are all leaders in some aspect(s) of our lives, be it as senior executives, managers, parents, teachers, older siblings, friends and so on.

The E.L.I. is an attitudinal assessment, which is based on an energy/action model. Rather than labelling you, it measures your level of energy based on your perception and perspective of your world and because attitude is subjective, it can be altered. We believe that the ability to change our perspective is the single most important life skill for resiliency and is why we'd strongly recommend this assessment to all our clients, albeit the choice is entirely yours. The E.L.I. also highlights the way in which you respond to stress, so we can work on relieving the inevitable stress response that crops up during all life transitions, even those you've chosen, enabling you to make decisions from a much calmer and more controlled position.

By working with an Uncouple® coach using the E.L.I., we can help to increase your awareness about where you are right now and home in on the key points that will alter your attitude and perspective. The potential impact of doing so is life-changing and for those of you that like evidence of results, there are several research papers available for you to read. You will start to make conscious choices about how you respond to life and its curveballs, as well as increasing your energy and leadership effectiveness.

This assessment and its subsequent debrief can be tagged onto a programme or be completed in isolation. There is also an opportunity to gain further insights into your leadership competencies through comparing your thoughts on your capability as a leader with 360° feedback from up to 25 people within seven group types, such as your manager, peers and friends, via the E.L.I. 360 assessment. Group types can also be customised to better represent your circumstances.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself or are a company wanting to ensure your employees are expertly supported during life's most trying moments, we are here to help.
